NO: If you wear only top retainers, it will not help, nor harm, your lower teeth.

Yes: If you stop wearing your lower retainer, the lower teeth will move. How quickly? Each person is different. Even if you wear your upper retainer, your lower teeth can and will move if you do not wear your lower retainer.

It will, of course: By wearing both retainers top and bottom, you will be rewarded with a beautiful smile for a lifetime.

Yes: If you do not retain both upper and lower, the I retained teeth will move. But you know this if you were treated by an Orthodontic Specialist. I'm sure the Orthodontist gave you clear and specific retainer instructions. Failure to follow the instructions to the letter will result I your throwing away all the time and money you invested in correcting your malocclusion.
