Was wondering if i only wear my top clear retainers, will it affect my bottom teeth?

Yes!: If your dentist/orthodontist provided upper and lower retainer they are meant to work in cooperation with each other in changing/maintaining your new bite. Using only one can alter your tooth positions negatively.

NO: If you wear only top retainers, it will not help, nor harm, your lower teeth.

Yes: If you stop wearing your lower retainer, the lower teeth will move. How quickly? Each person is different. Even if you wear your upper retainer, your lower teeth can and will move if you do not wear your lower retainer.
