I have gingivitis but i'm not sure, what do i do?

See Your Dentist: Well my first question for you would be who told you you had gingivitis? If it were your dentist or hygienist, you should already have an answer to your question? Gingivitis is inflammation of the gum tissue surrounding the teeth that usually bleeds easily, can be tender but often is not, and is usually caused by improper removal of plaque, bacteria and food debris from the tooth surfaces and gums.
