A member asked:

I sometimes feel hungry, but chewing gum takes it away. is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not normal: Chewing gum may stimulate the release of blood sugars which may cause the Insulin receptor sites to signal to the brain that I am not hungry.
