Gum swallowing: It is not true that gum takes seven years to digest. It is not great to swallow gum especially as it can get stuck and cause a blockage. Our bodies cannot absorb and breakdown gum so it travels from the mouth to the anus intact.

Chewing gum: Why you want to swallow it? It is not a digestible material. You might pass it with your bm, but there is a possibility of it getting stuck inside.
