Implant: Certain bone conditions may allow for the possibility of an immediate implant placement with a temporary tooth. Discuss this with your treating dentist to determine if you are a candidate for this options. Other choices may be what is called a flipper or a snap on smile, both of which are removable.

Get to your dentist: Get to your dentist immediately. One week is not much time to be seen and have something temporarily fabricated in that time span. Time is of the essence. There are some short term replacement possibilities. Lost as in extracted ?(=flipper) or as in broken? (=post + temporary crown). You can always have something more permanent and a better long term solution later on.
