Probably ok: An Insulin level by itself is usually of very little merit. You need to know what the glucose level was at the time the Insulin level was done. Nevertheless, an Insulin level of 12.1 fasting is essentially normal. Why was the level done? You don't make a diagnosis of Insulin resistance based on Insulin levels!
