Yes and No: A tooth that is erupting can cause some referred pain to your eye, ear, and can give you a headache. Dizziness is usually cause by an inner ear disturbance, and transient HBP could be from stress, but not directly from the tooth erupting. Please see your dentist regarding your wisdom tooth and have it extracted if it is impacted or there is a lack of space.

Of course: The bacteria present around an infected wisdom tooth may spread systemically. Chronic wisdom tooth infection has an impact on our general health and organ systems--the heart, kidneys, high BP, dizziness, eye pain and other organs. Wisdom teeth that cause problems should be extracted.

Nitroglycerin: Nitroglycerin relieves cardiac related chest pain by dilating the coronary arteries. These are the arteries that supply blood to the heart. Improving blood flow to heart muscle will relieve the discomfort caused by a partial blockage of the blood vessel with plaque.

Dilation of vessels: Nitroglycerin is only used in emergency situations, it works by causing dilation of blood vessels, which will then help to lower blood pressure. This also may cause a patient to get a headache as Nitroglycerin causes widespread dilation of blood vessels including blood vessels in the brain.

Yes: I assume you are talking of disc surgery, which the nerve involved. We have to consider two things. How chronic the painwas? How much the nerve injury is? It may take days? Few weeks? It may have residual pain for long time?

A 50-year-old member asked:

I have a herniated disc at t3-t4 from an accident burning pain in chest and muscle pain is this bad?

Internal Medicine 40 years experience
Maybe: The burning pain in your chest is most likely due to the disc herniation touching/compressing the nerves that go to the area of your chest where you feel the pain. If the hernia gets bigger it can squeeze on that nerve further, and can cause permanent damage to this nerve, sometimes decompressing the nerve through surgery may help but not always, medications such as gabapentin, Cymbalta (duloxetine) may help.
