Since we can't see : It hard to tell. So you have any medical issues that would complicate the problem? Hopefully, you were put on the correct antibiotic and with proper wound care you will be ok.

Sepsis: That depends on the organism as well as your health. If there are tracks running from the operative site , that is very serious. Stick with your surgeon and he/she will take care of you
