Dark circle: Benign cysts appear as dark black spheres, a cancerous lump would be bright white and solid.

Entirely black: With a smooth outline with increased sound transmission which shows up as white behind the back wall of the cyst. It does not contain any blood flow. A cancerous lump is usually irregular and gray inside and may show blood flow within it.
