What can abd x-rays (2 views) show?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gas/fluid pattern: Xr only shows shadows. In abdominal film, we can presume by looking at shadows the c of the duodenum, if air goes all the way down to rectum if there are air-fluid levels in obstruction and of course if there is a denser shadow that should not be there. We can presume positions of organs and see calcifications if present. Bones may be seen where they are.
