No but: There is a study showing that among the elderly, chronic use of this type of drug increased the risk for pneumonia. However, the risk/ benefit favors using it if you have bothersome symptoms without it. You may need some magnesium supplement since this type of drug reduces its absorption. Considering calcium/magnesium/ and vit d3 t on a daily basis since you are at risk for osteoporosis.
