See surgeon: This could be reflux but so soon after a surgery it is best to check with your surgeon and make sure there are no complications. In the meantime you could try taking the pantoprazole twice a day and other reflux prevention techniques. Here's a few: avoid nicotine, mints, alcohol and acidic foods, raise head of bed 2-3 inches. Eat small meals. Don't eat 3 hrs before bedtime Good luck.
