Urgency: Gosh. I wish you had a family doctor or a neurologist so that you could have continuity of care and someone to interpret your tests and have follow up. But, 13 seizures unexpected means a trip back to the er.

Neurological workup: What studies were done when you went to er the other times? Was your wife seen by a neurologist or neurosurgeon? With new onset seizures, she needs a complete neurological workup -- might not all be done in the er. If she's continuing to seize, she does need to return to the er. Ongoing seizures can be damaging to the brain, and need to be clearly diagnosed and treated. Avoid alcohol too.

Nuclear medicine...: Some nuclear medicine scans including both pet and spect can help localize a seizure focus. They can be performed either as ictal or interictal tests. You may want to look into this eventually or ask your physician if it may be helpful in your case after a basic workup has been done.
