Have it looked into: Nocturnal seizures can result in feeling beat up the next day (and having no recall of the seizure) In any event your seizures are not completely controlled with the current therapy. Check your Tegretol level, liver function, sodium, magnesium, calcium, Vit D and Tegretol 10-11 epoxide. Consider a different approach to seizure prophylaxis.

Complicated: Due to your seizures, you may have had an event caused injury to your back or ribs. Sometimes a small fracture can occur with generalized episodes. Need to get X rayed. Also, I am concerned about your carbamazepine, as there is potential for liver toxicity, and you already have hepatic disorder. Need to check liver blood studies regularly. Find a neurologist to help.
