My 16month old baby has green tongue after taking erythromycin, is this a side effect of the antibiotic or something else?

Probably: Antibiotics change the bacterial balance in all parts of the body. In all likelihood this is due to the antibiotics. See your childs pediatricians to see if treatment is needed.

Green tongue: Antibiotics cause imbalance of oral flora. In all probability this is temporary. Check in w your child's Pediatrician. Also, all children should have 1st Dental Examination by their 1st b'day. Recommend that you contact a Pedodontist, a Children's Dental Specialist.
