Weak and fatigable: Deconditioning typically appears as a loss of total strength (overt weakness) superimposed upon loss of stamina (rapid fatigue and exercise intolerance), both of which will slowly recover with time and a regimented therapy program. A rapid fluctuation in strength may be a sign of a superimposed neuromuscular problem.
