I had a lateral release in july. now at night sometimes it feels like my tendon or something around my ankle tightens to the point it hurts. any ideas?

Fluid: Not sure how long ago u underwent your arthroscopic lateral release but; swelling about the knee is extremely common as long as 6-8 wks after this surgery. Occasionally the fluid can track down your leg ( gravity) and it tends to congregate sometimes in the ankle.Make your surgeon aware of it @ next follow up . Best of luck!
