A member asked:

Mri report "few punctate like hyperintensity foci scattered in the supratentorial white matter , the lesions is not typical of m.s " what's it mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It means: That there are tiny spots in your brain matter above the cerebellum that are not in a pattern typical of multiple sclerosis. Beyond that your neurologist will have to figure out what caused them and whether they correlate with any of your symptoms, or whether they are meaningless findings because of the incredible ability of the scan to pick up even unimportant " lesions." best wishes!
