In an ankle arthroscopy, does surgeon look around everywhere in the ankle for problems? or only a certain area?

Everywhere: The benefit of arthroscopy is that we can see all aspects of a joint. It is more sensitive and specific than an mri.

The ankle joint: Gets inspected....There are parts of the ankle that are not in the joint, those do not get looked out.
