I am having ankle arthroscopy soon, when will be able to be back in the gym?

Probably soon: Discuss with your surgeon what your limitations will be after surgery. You can usually get back to non weight bearing activities fairly quickly. Follow directions closely. Dr l.

Ask your surgeon: Not knowing exactly what procedure is to be done, it would be best to ask your surgeon.

Likely 6 to 12 wks: Depends on the problem to be addressed, and what you intend to do in the gym, activity involving the operated ankle may need to be limited anywhere between 6 to 12 weeks give or take a few on what exactly is being done.
