Is vaporiser safer than actual cigarettes?

Interesting: If you are talking about those new gadgets where you don't have to light up to get your nicotine fix i feel nicotine in any form is not healthy.

Yes, but not safe: Smoking via a vaporiser is significantly safer than smoking cigarettes smoke contain over 4000 toxic chemicals that you avoid using a vaporiser. However, this does not mean that vaporisers are safe as they still have significant health hazards. If you smoke cigarette, changing to a vaporiser is wise, but then stopping it is even wiser.
