A member asked:

Need help. i've got a very strong tooth pain, i receive general medical , will my medical cover my dental problem?

Usually not: Medical insurance usually does not cover dental and similarly dental does not cover medical. One exception is when there are impacted wisdom teeth, it may be possible to use both medical and dental.

Depends: If it is a problem that is related to an accident, it could be covered under medical. Check with your HR dept at work to see the specifics of your plan and coverage or read your policy to ascertain.

No but: No, but it will cover pain medication and antibiotics to quell the pain until you can see your dentist
