Apples: Your teeth and chewing system are not working well if you cannot eat a basic food like an apple. Find out why it is painful to eat apples or any other food. Is it that only a single or few teeth hurt? Or they are all sensitive? Does biting on a whole apple hurt, but not a slice? Or is chewing the problems? Many questions come to my mind before i contemplate the solution. See a dentist first.
