Irritation: It may be from the apple's acid irritatiing the gum just so slightly. If you were eating a whole apple, especially, the backside of upper front teeth get in close contact with the skin and flesh of the apple. Both the scraping and acidic juice from apple may have something to do with the 'ticklish' feeling. This should subside soon.
