Not really: This combination is more to reduce bacterial populations in periodontal or gum disease rather than whitening teeth. You can get some lightening with this by removing plaque and surface debris. These solutions do not stay in contact with your teeth long enough to penetrate through the enamel into the dentin to lighten the teeth.
