Several things : Get enough sleep. If you get eight hours but still feel sleepy during the day, consult with a sleep physician. You may not be getting enough "restorative" sleep due to sleep apnea. If this is OK, try going to bed and setting alarm 1/2 hour earlier. Then if you hit the snooze button you will still wake on time. Avoid drugs and alcohol in the late evening.
