An infection: 40's female with abdominal discomfort, vomiting and chills has an infection until proven otherwise. A doctor is needed to rule out acute appendicitis or other source of infection. Of course could be viral, but as doctors we think of the worst so as not to overlook the worst. See or call your doctor sooner than later.
