Infection or Leak: If you don't have anything in your mouth, tasting anything different is abnormal. Please see your dentist asap. Simple x-ray exam will likely reveal the reason for the bad taste in your mouth. You may be tasting pus, which is a result of infection in the gum or bone or tooth. You may also have a tooth with decay under leaky filling. Treatment is simpler if you see a doctor sooner: call a dentist!
