Metallic taste: Often from gum infection/bleeding. When was your last Dental Examination/professional cleaning? Can also be caused by GERD, diabetes, and other systemic problems. Start with evaluation of the most common cause. See your Dentist.

For the past 3 months I've had a metallic/bitter taste in my mouth, along with dry mouth and sores on the roof of my mouth and uvula. I don't take any medications, don't drink alcohol or caffeine, don't smoke anything, and am not overweight.
