Dentist or ER ASAP: It is hard to tell if this serious or not without seeing it, but normal tongue should appear pink, not white. White often means there is less blood supply or circulation. Getting good supply of blood is critical to healing, so after the tongue is pierced, this is something to be checked by a professional. Blanching of tongue is not normal. Please visit a dentist or emergency as soon as you can.
