How to get rid of red eyes from overuse of visine?

Stop the visine: Visine in its most common form says on the label something like "gets the red out:". While true, it is temporary and the drop is drying and leads to a quick hyperdilation of the blood vessels and more red. Leading to reuse of the drop and eventually red much of the time. Use only visine in the blue boxes or some other lubricating/tear replacement drop for your eye dryness. Dont use gets red out.
