No: Wisdom teeth are removed when decay and gum disease are affecting the teeth. Another reason to remove teeth is lack of space or partial impact ion of the teeth. If the teeth are not functional remove them. Also impacted teeth can develop cysts and may need to be removed. Consult a dentist to find out if they recommend removal of your wisdom teeth.
