Stand upside down: What kind of answer are you looking for? The best way is to go to an oral surgeon, who is board certified and will do the job correctly. You have nothing to say about how it is done. It is entirely up to the surgeon. I recommend using only local anesthesia and not general anesthesia as it does not hurt and is easier for the dentist to do. Just go and have confidence in the dentist.

It depends: It depends whether your wisdom teeth are impacted or not. If all 4 wisdom teeth are impacted, i would see an oral surgeon and get all 4 removed in 1 visit under conscious IV sedation.

The best way . . .: Is to have them removed by someone who can perform the procedure as comfortably and safely as possible. Some patients prefer to have the procedure performed with local anesthesia alone, while others want a general anesthetic. Oral surgeons remove wisdom teeth on a daily basis and most surgeons recommend the removal of impacted wisdom teeth with local anesthesia and some form of sedation.
