I was wondering, do antibiotics heal an abscessed tooth?

No, they don't: An abscessed tooth is not like a sore throat... Something that antibiotics can treat. An abscessed tooth needs to be treated by a dentist.. The antibiotics only treat the symptoms, they cannot restore a broken down tooth.
