Yes: Most antidepressants can increase sweating. This usually more with meds that increase Adrenalin (think exercise) but it happens with selective serotonin one like above. It can be helped by med change or dose adjustment but this risks relapse. Adding a low dose of a blood pressure medication terozocin 2mg may help. Discuss with your prescriber first if this is appropriate for you.

Possibly.: Sweating is a known adverse effect that is infrequently seen in people taking ssri antidepressants. There are several theories for the mechanism of action, however none is specifically proven. Resolution may occur by switching medications, lowering the dose, discontinuing, doing nothing, or treating the sweating with another medication.
