A member asked:

Does a left curving thoratic scoliosis need further investigation to check for underlying cause? i heard left curve is rare. many thanks

See scoliosis doc: It is true that some left thoracic (midback) curves have been associated with neurological abnomalities, but not all left curves have abnormalities. A scoliosis spine specialist can assess you and see if testing (usually) MRI is advisable.
