Location of curve: This is a label that means there is a bend in the spine that bows out to the right in the level of the lung ribs and bows left at the mid-back. The label itself does not say the degree of bowing which is usually defined in angles. Scoliosis tends to increase during rapid growth and stabilize after growth stops.
