I havent had a solid BM in 5 days. Ive taken stimulant laxatives, stool softeners, mineral oil, glycerin suppositories, and an enema yet Ive had no luck passing anything. I get enough fiber, water, and exercise. Whats the next step?
Part of my ED recovery was ending daily laxative abuse (12-14 a day). How can I rebuild my health from the effects of said abuse? I still need to use various fiber supplements, and Metamucil regularly in order to have regular BMs, are these as bad?

Bad constipation for ~4wks. Tried high fiber (3x rda!), more h2o, & stim. Laxatives (mildly helpful). Can lumbar ddd/torn disc at l5/s1 cause this?
