Part of my ed recovery was ending daily laxative abuse (12-14 a day). how can i rebuild my health from the effects of said abuse? i still need to use various fiber supplements, and metamucil regularly in order to have regular bms, are these as bad?

Fiber is good. : Maintaining your fiber (50-70 grams daily across 4-5 meals) and water (enough that urine seems almost clear) intake will help, and is much more natural and safe than regular laxative overuse.
