Leg pain: There are many other causes for leg pain. No reason to check again. Do yourself a huge favor and quit smoking.

Venous ultrasound.: D-dimer is a non specific test. A normal d-dimer is a good indication that there is no dvt. If you want to know for sure, then you should have a venous duplex ultrasound of your leg veins.
