Either...: As a podiatrist i feel that we know more about the latest research and treatment trends of most foot conditions, including plantar fasciitis. Podiatrist: A podiatrist is specially trained in disease processes of the lower leg and foot, and have various techniques and treatment options. They are also better skilled in using the more delicate instruments needed on the small bones and spaces of the foot should surgery be needed.
