I have been positive for cmv igm & igg since 11-12 and likely before...had surgery to remove big thymus 1-13. can cmv be treated so i can have a baby?

Most people have: Been infected with cmv. In someone with a normal immune system it should not reactivate. Pregnancy is fine - no risk to baby.

No treatment: CMV is a herpesvirus. They all have one thing in common, and that is, once you have it you have it for life. There is no curative therapy, but being antibody positive does not mean that you cannot have a baby.
