PPI's: Not all ppi's work for everyone. You should definitely try others to see if you can get control.

Could be other cause: While i agree that not every ppi works in every patient, failure to get symptomatic relief with good therapy may be sign of other problem. In a 28 yo, coronary artery disease is uncommon, but there can be stomach ulcers due to several other factors that may need to be addressed. Seek attention.
