I have pain in the belly button area, then i must pass gas to relieve the pain. no diarrhea, constipation or vomiting. what 'symptom' is this?

Transient...: ...Bowel distension and reflex contraction. If that is the only symptom and it is short lived would recommend changing your diet slightly and add a probiotic. If symptoms progress to include nausea and/or vomiting would see your doctor quickly.
