Yes, but...: The radiologist will look over all the images and will evaluate the entire brain, not just the pituitary. But to keep the scan a reasonable length of time, some of the whole brain images are skipped so that we can get pictures focusing on the pituitary. Exact images obtained vary depending on the facility.
