Is it true that some mild common colds can be cured by eating ice cream? some people claim to have cured their colds by simply eating ice cream.

No cure for URI: I am not aware of anything in ice cream that would "cure" a common cold. That is a rhinovirus infection or other viral infection that typically needs to run its course in 5-7 days. That is one problem we still have no cure for at this time. There are many supportive therapies that make us feel better, but doesn't "cure" it.

No cure: If you eat ice cream, your cold will get better. If you don't eat ice cream, your cold will bet better too, and just as fast. But eating ice cream is nice, and might make the cold more bearable.
