See your dentist: It sounds like canker sores, however there are lots of other possibilities.. There is a topical bandaid the can be put over it to lessen the pain. Your dentist can also prescribe an anesthetic mouth rinse to lessen the pain. There are other possibilities, but see you dentist for a diagnosis. If they are larger than a quarter size it is called suttons disease.

Further follow up: You need to have this evaluated by a dentist or oral surgeon to see where the lesions are in the mouth. Depending on what is seen along with a history, a definative diagnosis can be obtained.
