I had bells palsy at the age of 43.....i was pregnant and 45. was under severe stress both times. any chance of it recurring if under severe stress ?

Bells Palsey: Yes this can re-occur under stress. Though poorly understood there is research that this may be viral induced. When you are under stress you immune system is compromised and hidden viruses may capitalize on you in this weaken state.

Possibility: Bell palsy tends to recur in about 14% of patients. It can recur on the same or opposite side. Family history is associated with higher recurrence rates. You should consider an MRI or high res ct to rule out other causes for recurrence.
