Not tetanus: You have up to 72 hours after the cut to get a tetanus shot. But even after that cut off, it can be helpful. Tetanus takes a while to develop, so assume it was tuesday 3 days ago, it's not tetanus. But i can't rule out some other infection. Most skin infections won't cause throat symptoms. It's probably a sore throat completely unrelated to the cut. Go get checked for the throat a tetanus shot.

Not tetanus: It takes a few days to typically allow the bacteria (clostridium tetani)to multiply and produce enough toxin to cause symptoms of tetanus. The bacteria is found in the soil and rusty items. Unless you were using the kitchen knife outside the house or beyond preparing food, you more than likely have something else like a viral infection- see your doctor to discuss the details of your case.
