Went to hospital to find out had pulled muscle in neck. can't move at all, in so much pain, took naproxen and muscle relaxer but did nothing?

You might have torto: You migh hav torticolis and the best therapy is an injection at the trigger point. Usually there is a tender location in the neck and that is where the inejction is given. You can use heat, massage, physical therapy also. You need to se eyour physician and get directed for appropraite therapy.

Follow up : Typically after being seen in the ER, patients are given an appointment to see a specialist in followup. If the pain persists, an MRI will give much more information and what was thought to be a simple " muscle pull" can sometimes turn out to be a cervical disc herniation. Keep your follow up appointment.
